As the New Year emerges, so also does this first blog posting. The photo is daybreak in my backyard, the sun pushing through heavy fog. For many, the tedious progression through Covid variants and varied responses to this virus is much like that push. Beginnings, here, is an investment in the sun pushing through the fog.
We are all emerging from what I have learned to call our “Covid Caves”, struggling to make sense of a series of experiences little understood by any of us. My intent in this blog is to offer some reflections, shaped by the times and my unique experiences and insights. I don’t believe we will “go back to normal” but will collectively create a new “normal”. That creation is communal in character. This blog is my contribution to the shared challenge.
